Important Notice:

• Follow each step carefully, do not skip any steps.
• Pay special attention to the error "changing the fam limit 12th" when joining a new family group.

1️⃣ Leave the old family group

Purpose: Ensure no link remains with the old family group before joining a new one.

• Visit: https://myaccount.google.com/people-and-sharing.
• Check status:
  • If you see "YOUR FAMILY GROUP IS INACTIVE", click "Leave group" to exit the old group.
• Refresh the page or check email:
  • If you see "VIEW INVITATION" or an invitation email, click to join the new group.

2️⃣ Fix country-related issues

Purpose: Resolve country-related errors to join the new family group.

Step 1: Close old payment profiles

Purpose: Close all current payment profiles to set up a new one in Vietnam.

• Visit: https://payments.google.com.
• Click the three horizontal lines icon on the left and select Settings.
• Scroll to the bottom and select "Close all payment profiles".
• Enter password, choose a reason, and confirm closure.
• Return to the Google Payments homepage.

Step 2: Create a new payment profile in Vietnam

Purpose: Set up a new payment profile and link the email with Vietnam as the country.

• Visit again: https://payments.google.com.
• Add a new payment method with the following details:
  • Card Number: 5388410541400869
  • Expiration Date: 07/2033
  • CVV: 544
  • Cardholder Name: Random
  • Country: Select Vietnam.
  • Address 1: Ho Chi Minh
  • City: Ho Chi Minh
  • Province & Postal Code: 70000
• Click Save.
• If an error appears, click Dismiss. The email will automatically link to the Vietnam payment profile.

3️⃣ Join the new family group

Purpose: Complete the process of joining the new group.

• Visit again: https://myaccount.google.com/people-and-sharing or check your email.
• Click on the invitation and follow the instructions to join the new group.
